Happy V-day!!

My house is split when it comes to Valentines celebrations. I love it but Shawn thinks that it's just a dumb holiday to get guys to spend money. :) Hopefully Seth will love it too and Shawn will be outnumbered. Shawn did get me a REALLY cute pair of leopard print flip flops that have a little bling on them. I can't wait for it to warm up so I can wear them! We also went out to eat at Uncle Julio's (one of mommy's favorites) with my parents. Seth even found himself a cute Valentine at the table next to us. Mommy told him he will have to wait about 18 more years before he can go on a date.
Mommy's littlest Valentine.

This is just a random picture of Seth "working" on our walls at home. I thought it was too cute not to post.

Fort Worth Stock Show

Shawn's been suggesting that we head to Fort Worth for the stock show ever since it started a few weeks ago. Saturday ended up being the perfect day. Seth loved watching the horses and seeing the pigs, goats, and birds in the petting zoo. He also got to get on a bull (fake of course) and go down the big slide with daddy. He had a blast. When we got home, I was way too tired to cook so we went to Mi Cocina and walked around Watters Creek. I love that place! I also loved every minute that I got to spend with my two men. I am so lucky!!!

Seth starting early on bulls!
Seth thought the baby pigs were pretty cute.

Going down the slide with daddy. Seth laughed the whole way down.

When he reached the bottom, Seth would jump up and start heading for the stairs to do it again.

"momma" and "night night"

These are two of Seth's favorite words right now. Before he goes to sleep and when he wakes up in the morning, he stands up in his bed and says "Momma, Momma", as if saying "aren't you going to come get me?" He also loves to walk around the house saying "night night" and finding a pillow to pretend to go to sleep on.
Seth always makes us laugh!

"Night Night"

Seth found an old paci in the toy box and he had lots of fun with it.

What a weekend!!!

Wow! What a weekend! We started off Sat. morning by going to Zach's basketball game. We got to visit with some friends from Huntsville and Seth loved watching Zach play. Later that evening, we went over to Kylie (a friend from high school) and Sean's house to visit and eat duck. I have to say that I was pretty nervous about it, but it was GREAT. The boys got to play together and the adults had some actual adult conversation (of course Shawn and Sean's was all about hunting and fishing). Sunday, we went to our church's annual "Youth vs. Men" football game. For the first time in 4 years, the youth won!! The men did everything, including cheating and scaming, to win, but the youth still came out on top. After that we ate soup and watched the game on the big screen in the gym. We had a great time visiting and playing, but we are definately ready for some rest.

The boys played so well together. Seth loved finding Bryson inside the fort.

Seth and Rebecca. Seth's feet rarely touch the ground at church! He is very spoiled there. He knows that when mommy and daddy make him go to class, it won't be long before someone (usually the Saffle boys) come to rescue him.

Seth loved playing "peek-a-boo" with Mark.

Someone go long!!!

Seth and Zach. Even though it doesn't look like it, Seth loves Zach and he really liked watching him play basketball on Sat. Seth was getting a little cranky at this point. He wanted to be on the football field, not on the sidelines.
