We are thankful...

Shawn and I are thankful for so many things. It would be impossible to list them all but here are a few: the sacrifice of Jesus, our precious son Seth, our families, our church, our house, and of course, our jobs! This Thanksgiving, we headed to Mimi and Pop's house to spend time together and do lots of boy things, since there are 5 grandsons. We had a wonderful time.
Pop is showing Seth a few things about riding a motorcycle.

Seth riding all by himself! This was his favorite thing to do.

One of Seth's other favorite things...riding the "tractor". I guess we'll have to bring him to Uncle Bob's house to ride a real tractor.

The kids table. Gagey, Dakota, Corbin, Blane, and Seth.

This is how Seth walked around most of the time. He would put the helmet on and say "Ride momo". This is how he ate with the helmet on. So cute!!

Seth's new footie pj's. It turned out that he loved them. A few seconds after this picture, Seth cam tumbling off the desk. Boys!

Dakota was taking care of him.

Seth decided that Dakota looked like a pretty good bull to ride.

This is what happened after Pop left on the tractor without his two youngest grandson's. Mimi had to fix the damage.

What we've been up to

The last week has been pretty busy for us. We had Blane's birthday party at Lake Whitney, visited Santa and his reindeer, had a sleepover with Seth's cousins, and a fun playdate today with Alex from school. Here are a few pictures.

After our playdate with Alex we got our favorite dessert, ICE CREAM!!

The boys did not want to look at the camera. They just wanted to play with the tree.

The boys saw a passing dog and really wanted to pet it. It looks kind of funny with the boys in the fence and the dog running free.
This was the night that Corbin and Gage spent the night. The boys loved the bubbles. Later, they started making beards with the bubbles. Priceless!
After pizza and ice cream, the boys watched a movie and ate popcorn.

Gobble Gobble

Today was Seth's Thanksgiving "feast" at school. He wasn't too excited about the food but he had a good time eating with his friends and mommy.

Mommy's little turkey eating his lunch.

Seth and Hannah. This little girl is so cute. Everytime I have my camera, she stands right in front of me and yells "cheese". She is also the first child to greet me every time I come in the classroom. Too cute.

Seth with his friends Ana and Payton.

Payton again.

This is the shirt I made Seth to wear for Thanksgiving. The whole time I was doing his handprint, he yelled "Hurt mommy, hurt!" Now he won't take the shirt off!

Trick or Treating fun!

Well, I got a call around 11:45 on Friday that Seth had a low grade fever, so I immediately picked him up and headed to the doctor. I was hoping he was not sick because he just got over the flu and because I didn't want him to miss all the trick or treating fun. Thank goodness the doctor said he was fine and he woke up Saturday ready to go!
After getting a much needed haircut, we went to a local pumpkin patch to get a pumpkin. Of course the pickings were very slim so we headed to our Walmart grocery store and suprisingly they had a ton to choose from. Seth kept trying to pick it up but groaned and said "heavy".
Seth loved watching daddy draw the face on the pumpkin.

Of course, this was Seth's favorite part. He was covered with pumpkin insides by the time he was done.
He even tasted the pumpkin. You can tell by his face that he probably won't do that again.
Later that evening, Seth got all his bull riding gear on and was ready for some trick or treating!

I love that he already had a sucker in his mouth while he was trick or treating. He LOVES suckers.
"Trick or Treat" As soon as someone put candy in Seth's pumpkin, he would look at me and say "more" and start walking to the next house.
One of Seth's friends from school, Alex, came over to trick or treat with us. Alex loved the wagon. He was so worried every time he got out to go trick or treating that the wagon was going to leave him. It was very funny.

Momma's little man.

I love this picture! Thanks Aunt Shawna for taking some great pics.
